Self Sabotage: Why the Law of Attraction Isn’t Working for You

“You cannot solve a problem in the same frequency in which it was created.”
― Lynn Grabhorn

  1. It is not enough to simply act through the law of attraction. You have to first align your mind, body and soul with your goal. You cannot receive what you want unless you are ready. You become ready when you have faith that the law of attraction is working in your favour – that every moment is bringing you one step closer to what you truly desire.
  2. You constantly focus on what your life is lacking. Yes, you want to manifest more money into your life, and so you put a request out to the universe. At the same time you persistently think about your lack of money, and how much happier you will be when the universe finally grants you your wish. We sometimes forget the meaning of the law of attraction, the idea that like attracts like. If you focus on the lack, you attract more lack. On the other hand, focus on the abundance you already have in your life, and attract more. It is the primary rule of the law of attraction but it is easy to lose sight of it when you begin manifesting and visualising.
  3. You are constantly waiting for what you asked for to arrive. Of course, the law of attraction requires visualisation, but this visualisation should not be constant – you’ve made your request, the universe has received it. Now you must focus on the present moment, express positivity and align your energy with the energy you want to receive. If you are constantly thinking about how what you have asked for is going to manifest itself, and worrying about it, then you are only going to push what you want further away.
